About Post: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) ने Security Guard के 25 पदों पर भर्ती के लिए Advt. No. HRMD/SS/RECT/01/2026-27 जारी किया है। यह भर्ती केवल पात्र Ex-Servicemen/Ex-Agniveers (Disabled Ex-Servicemen को छोड़कर) के लिए है। Online आवेदन 25 अगस्त 2026 से 14 सितंबर 2026 तक स्वीकार किए जाएंगे। उम्मीदवार 10वीं पास या समकक्ष होना चाहिए, लेकिन Graduation या समकक्ष परीक्षा पास नहीं की होनी चाहिए तथा Tamil भाषा बोलना, पढ़ना और लिखना आना चाहिए।

Overall cut-off Bank actual performance और vacancies के आधार पर तय करेगा। Notification में negative marking का specific provision नहीं दिया गया है।
Application से पहले photograph, signature, left thumb impression और English handwritten declaration prescribed specification में तैयार रखें। Final submission के बाद system-generated application print/save रखें।
PFT के समय applicable originals + self-attested copies में application printout, DOB proof, photo ID, educational certificates, Discharge Book, Ex-Servicemen Identity Card, category/EWS certificates और अन्य eligibility documents देने होंगे।

Pre-Examination Training
Online Test / Call Letter — जरूरी दस्तावेज
- Valid Call Letter.
- Application/Call Letter में समान नाम वाला original Photo ID और उसकी photocopy.
- Original Ex-Servicemen Identity Card और photocopy.
- Ration Card तथा Learner’s Driving Licence valid ID proof नहीं हैं।
- Online examination के दिन biometric thumb impression और photograph capture/verification हो सकता है।
Physical Fitness Test — Marks, Attempt और Medical Certificate
- PFT Chennai में होगा; date अलग से intimation/call letter द्वारा दी जाएगी।
- Push-Ups 30, Sit-Ups 30, One Kilometre Run 30 और Drill 10 marks.
- हर sub-test में prescribed minimum marks अलग से हासिल करना जरूरी है; grand qualifying score 65/100.
- हर PFT sub-test में केवल one attempt मिलेगा।
- PFT से पहले registered medical practitioner, rank not below Civil Assistant Surgeon, का medical fitness certificate देना होगा। Certificate PFT date पर 15 days से पुराना नहीं होना चाहिए।
Physical Fitness Test — जरूरी दस्तावेज
- PFT Call Letter और submitted online application printout.
- DOB proof और valid Photo ID.
- Educational marksheets/certificates.
- Discharge Book और Ex-Servicemen Identity Card.
- Applicable SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificates तथा अन्य eligibility documents.
- Required originals/self-attested copies produce न करने पर आगे recruitment process में participation रुक सकती है।
