Selection Process
- Office Assistant: Preliminary Exam → Main Exam → Provisional Allotment। Interview नहीं होगा; final merit Main Exam marks से बनेगी।
- Officer Scale-I: Preliminary Exam → Main Exam → Common Interview → Provisional Allotment।
- Officer Scale-II & III: Single Online Examination → Common Interview → Provisional Allotment।
- Officers के लिए Online Examination और Interview का weightage 80:20 रहेगा।
- Objective tests में गलत उत्तर पर उस question के marks का 1/4 penalty होगी। Unanswered question पर penalty नहीं है।

Local Language Rule
Officer Scale-I और Office Assistant के लिए संबंधित State की prescribed local language आवश्यक qualification है। यदि उम्मीदवार ने Government-recognized Board/School में कक्षा 8 या उससे ऊपर उस भाषा को पढ़ा है अथवा निर्धारित certificate रखता है, तो उसे proficient माना जाएगा। चयन के समय यह शर्त पूरी न होने पर joining के बाद सामान्यतः 6 महीने का समय दिया जा सकता है, जो probation period से आगे नहीं बढ़ेगा।
