Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) ने Advt. No. 09/2026 के तहत गृह विभाग (आरक्षी शाखा), बिहार सरकार के अधीन Special Branch में Police Sub-Inspector (General Closed Cadre) के 150 पदों पर भर्ती के लिए official notification जारी किया है। इस भर्ती के लिए online आवेदन 09 July 2026 से शुरू होगा और उम्मीदवार 09 August 2026 तक आवेदन कर सकेंगे।
इस भर्ती में भारतीय पुरुष और महिला उम्मीदवार आवेदन कर सकते हैं। उम्मीदवार के पास 01 August 2025 तक किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से Graduation या इसके समकक्ष योग्यता होनी चाहिए। आयु सीमा की गणना भी 01 August 2025 के आधार पर की जाएगी। आवेदन शुल्क सभी वर्गों के पुरुष और महिला उम्मीदवारों के लिए ₹100 रखा गया है।
चयन प्रक्रिया में पहले Preliminary Written Exam, फिर Main Written Exam और उसके बाद Physical Efficiency / Physical Standard checking शामिल होगी। Final merit मुख्य लिखित परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर तैयार की जाएगी। उम्मीदवार आवेदन करने से पहले अपनी educational qualification, age limit, category, physical standard, mobile number, email ID और सभी details अच्छी तरह check कर लें, क्योंकि गलत जानकारी देने पर आवेदन रद्द किया जा सकता है।

Payment Note: Application fee payment online करना अनिवार्य है। BPSSC application fee के अलावा कोई extra amount नहीं लेगा, लेकिन online payment पर bank charges candidate को देना पड़ सकता है।
Important: सफल payment के बाद fee refund नहीं होगी। अगर payment कट जाए और registration complete न हो, तो official notice के अनुसार amount लगभग 07 working days के बाद payment gateway से वापस हो सकता है।
Warning: Fee payment के बाद chargeback / bank से fee वापस लेने की कोशिश करने पर application reject हो सकता है और legal action भी हो सकता है। एक candidate केवल एक ही online application भर सकता है।

Bihar Government Servant Relaxation: Bihar State के ऐसे government servant, जिन्होंने regular service में minimum 3 years पूरा कर लिया है, उन्हें higher pay scale / higher cadre की competitive examination में भाग लेने के लिए maximum age limit में 05 years की छूट दी जाएगी।
Ex-Servicemen Relaxation: Ex-Servicemen candidates को maximum age limit में 03 years + defence service period के बराबर relaxation मिलेगा। लेकिन candidate की actual age cut-off date 01 August 2025 को 57 years से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए।
Other State Candidates: Reservation / age relaxation का लाभ केवल Bihar State के मूल निवासी candidates को मिलेगा। दूसरे राज्य के reserved category candidates को Unreserved / General category माना जाएगा और उनके लिए UR category वाली age limit लागू होगी।
Important: Age calculation matric / equivalent certificate में दर्ज date of birth के आधार पर होगी। Form में गलत date of birth, wrong gender या wrong category भरने पर application reject हो सकता है।

Important: Height, chest और weight के लिए कोई marks नहीं मिलेगा, लेकिन prescribed physical standard पूरा नहीं करने वाले candidates को unsuccessful माना जाएगा।

Selection Process

Selection Process Summary: इस भर्ती में candidates का selection written examination और physical standard checking के आधार पर किया जाएगा। Final merit list मुख्य लिखित परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर बनेगी।

Main Point: Prelims qualifying / shortlisting stage है। Final merit main written exam के marks से बनेगी। Physical standard checking में candidate को prescribed height, chest और weight standards पूरा करना जरूरी होगा।
Tie-Break Rule: अगर दो या अधिक candidates के marks equal होते हैं, तो अधिक उम्र वाले candidate को merit में ऊपर रखा जाएगा। अगर marks और date of birth दोनों समान हों, तो higher educational qualification देखी जाएगी। इसके बाद भी समानता हो तो matric certificate में लिखे नाम के Hindi alphabetical order के आधार पर merit तय होगी।
Important: Medical test में unfit पाए जाने, facts छिपाने, adverse character report, criminal case / conviction या required physical standard पूरा नहीं करने पर candidate appointment के लिए अयोग्य माना जा सकता है।

Exam Mode: Written examination दो stages में होगी – Preliminary Exam और Main Exam. Preliminary exam objective type होगा और Main Exam में दो papers होंगे।

Prelims Shortlisting: Preliminary exam marks के आधार पर category-wise merit के अनुसार vacancy के maximum 10 times candidates को Main Exam के लिए select किया जाएगा। अगर exam multiple shifts में होती है, तो normalized marks Equi-Percentile Method से calculate किए जाएंगे।

Before Apply: Candidate application form भरने से पहले official instructions, eligibility, age limit, category, physical standard और qualification details carefully check कर लें। गलत जानकारी देने पर application reject हो सकता है।

Important Warning: एक mobile number से केवल एक application भरा जा सकता है। एक candidate केवल एक ही online application भर सकता है। Multiple applications भरने पर सभी applications reject हो सकते हैं।
Correction / Cancel Note: Payment के बाद registration details edit नहीं होंगी। अगर गलत details के साथ form final submit हो गया है, तो candidate cancel option का use करके नया application भर सकता है, लेकिन पहले paid application fee refund नहीं होगी।
Do Not Send Form: Filled online application को BPSSC office भेजने की जरूरत नहीं है। Candidate acknowledgement copy और registration number future use के लिए सुरक्षित रखें।
