Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai ने Apprentices Act, 1961 के तहत Act Apprentice 2026-27 के लिए कुल 1010 training slots पर online applications आमंत्रित किए हैं।
Freshers के लिए trade के अनुसार 10th में न्यूनतम 50% या MLT के लिए 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Biology तथा Ex-ITI candidates के लिए संबंधित NCVT/SCVT National Trade Certificate जरूरी है।
Online application 08 August 2026 से शुरू है और वर्तमान में portal active है। आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि 07 September 2026 शाम 5:30 बजे है।
Tamil Nadu residence/Employment Exchange से जुड़ी eligibility और higher-qualification restriction ध्यान से जरूर देखें। यह apprenticeship training opportunity है और training पूरी होने पर ICF/Railways में employment की guarantee नहीं है।

Women Candidates
Women के लिए अलग women-specific age relaxation notification में नहीं दिया गया है। उनकी applicable community/PwBD age condition के अनुसार eligibility देखी जाएगी।
Eligibility Criteria
Fitter / Electrician / Machinist
10+2 system या equivalent के तहत Std X में न्यूनतम 50% aggregate marks तथा Science & Mathematics होना जरूरी है।

Carpenter / Painter
10+2 system या equivalent के तहत Std X में न्यूनतम 50% aggregate marks होना जरूरी है।

Welder

MLT – Radiology / Pathology

Fitter / Electrician / Machinist
Std X में न्यूनतम 50% marks, Science & Maths के साथ, तथा notified trade में NCVT/SCVT का National Trade Certificate होना चाहिए। Trade training/certificate period one year or above होना चाहिए।

Std X में न्यूनतम 50% marks तथा संबंधित notified trade में NCVT/SCVT National Trade Certificate of one year and above होना चाहिए।

Std X में न्यूनतम 50% marks तथा NCVT/SCVT certificate निम्न में से संबंधित trade में होना चाहिए:

Fitter
LD – lower limb partially damaged from one side; LC, DW, AA, LV, Deaf, SLD.
Machinist
LD – only small finger damaged; LC, DW, AA, LV, Deaf, SLD.
Painter

Selection Process
Merit List
Selection की merit list Std X में प्राप्त marks के आधार पर तैयार होगी।
COVID Pass Candidates
यदि candidate X Std में COVID Pass category से है, तो IX Std mark sheet अथवा X Std Half-Yearly mark sheet, institution के Principal द्वारा duly signed, merit preparation के लिए ली जाएगी।
Tie-Break Rule
समान marks होने पर अधिक उम्र वाले candidate को preference मिलेगी। Date of Birth भी समान होने पर Std X examination पहले पास करने वाले candidate को preference मिलेगी।
Trade Allotment
Freshers trade preference दे सकते हैं। Merit order और available vacancy के आधार पर trade allot होगा। Trade allotment के बाद change request स्वीकार नहीं होगी।
Ex-ITI candidates को उसी trade में training दी जाएगी जिसमें उनके पास ITI certificate है। PwBD candidates को केवल उनके लिए permissible trade allot किया जाएगा।

Document Verification में जरूरी दस्तावेज
- Final online application के बाद generated acknowledgement form का printout.
- Qualifying examination Std X / XII / ITI completion का Original Transfer Certificate.
- SC/ST candidates के लिए appropriate authority द्वारा issued caste certificate.
- OBC candidates के लिए appropriate authority द्वारा issued OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate.
- PwBD reservation claim करने वालों के लिए Central/State Government द्वारा issued disability certificate.
- Medical fitness certificate prescribed form में, Government-authorized Gazetted Doctor से, जो Central/State Hospital में Assistant Surgeon से नीचे rank का न हो।

Disqualification / Debarment Rules
- Canvassing in any form candidature को disqualify कर सकता है।
- Candidate द्वारा दी गई declaration/information false पाई जाने पर उसे training period के किसी भी stage पर बिना notice disqualify या terminate किया जा सकता है।
- Eligibility, application acceptance/rejection और application mode से जुड़े मामलों में Administration का decision final होगा।
