Important Dates

Shortlisting Details for DV / PST

As per the official notice, the written examination for UP Home Guard Enrollment 2025 was conducted on 25, 26 and 27 April 2026. The result was published on 28 June 2026.

Candidates have been shortlisted for DV/PST on the basis of written examination marks, preferential qualification marks and reservation rules. Around 2.6 times candidates against the district/category-wise advertised posts have been called for Document Verification and Physical Standard Test.

DV / PST Venue Information

The Document Verification and Physical Standard Test will be conducted at Reserve Police Lines located in different districts of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates must appear at the centre mentioned in their admit card on the scheduled date and time.

Note: If representation of any category is required as per government orders, additional officers may be nominated by the concerned district police authorities.

Physical Standard Test Details

Appeal / Objection for Physical Measurement

• If a candidate is not satisfied with the physical measurement, he/she may submit an appeal/objection on the same day after the test.
• For disposal of such appeals, an Upper Police Superintendent level officer will be nominated as nodal officer at each centre.
• The re-measurement of such candidates will be conducted in the presence of the nominated officer.
• If the candidate is found unsuccessful in the re-measurement, he/she will be declared unsuitable for enrollment.
• After this, no further appeal will be accepted regarding physical measurement.

Previous Measurement Will Not Be Accepted

Any height or chest measurement obtained in previous recruitment/enrollment or from any government/private institution will not be valid for this enrollment. Only the measurement taken by the DV/PST team during this enrollment process will be considered valid.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Candidates must appear at the allotted centre on the date and time mentioned in the admit card.
• The Board may change the date and time for a particular group of candidates due to reasons beyond control.
• If a candidate is unable to appear on the fixed date, time and place due to valid reasons, he/she may submit a representation to the nodal officer of the concerned district.
• The nodal officer may consider the representation and allow the candidate to appear on another date fixed for DV/PST or reserve day.
• No date will be re-fixed after the final date / reserve day fixed for DV/PST.
• If a candidate fails to appear on the re-fixed date and time, he/she will be treated as unsuccessful.
• No extra chance will be given to candidates finally declared unsuccessful for not meeting the required physical standards.
• The result of Document Verification and Physical Standard Test will be communicated to candidates on the same day.
• Candidates should regularly check the official website of UPPRPB for latest instructions and updates.
