Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) ने Advertisement No. D-1/E-1/2026 के तहत Medical Education Department, U.P. (Allopathy) में Professor और Assistant Professor के कुल 1156 पदों पर Direct Recruitment निकाली है।

इस भर्ती में Professor के 44 और Assistant Professor के 1112 पद शामिल हैं। अधिकांश पद specialty-specific Medical Faculty posts हैं, जिनके लिए संबंधित specialty में prescribed MD/MS/DNB/DrNB/DM/M.Ch./MDS qualification, teaching/clinical experience और post-wise NMC eligibility conditions लागू हैं। कुछ posts जैसे Statistician cum Assistant Professor तथा Physicist के लिए अलग subject-specific non-medical qualification route भी निर्धारित है।

Online application 18 August 2026 से शुरू हो चुका है और online form submit तथा fee deposit की अंतिम तिथि 01 September 2026 है। Correction / Fee Reconciliation 08 September 2026 तक किया जा सकता है। Online application की print copy और संबंधित records की hard copy UPPSC में 15 September 2026 शाम 5:00 बजे तक पहुंचनी चाहिए।

Fellowship relaxation केवल notification में निर्धारित eligibility conditions पूरी करने वाले researchers को मिलेगा। Fellowship tenure age-relaxation purpose के लिए advertisement year की 01 July से reckon किया जाता है। यदि candidate किसी अन्य applicable maximum-age relaxation का पहले से लाभ लेने का पात्र है, तो separate additional fellowship relaxation स्वतः cumulative नहीं माना जाएगा।
Advertisement में general PwD age provisions मौजूद हैं, लेकिन Medical Education Department के Government Medical College posts के संबंध में specific note दिया गया है कि cited Government Order के तहत इन posts का PwD के लिए identification नहीं किया गया है। इसलिए general PwD age-relaxation provision को इन advertised posts पर automatic eligibility न मानें।
Women candidates के लिए इस advertisement में अलग numerical upper-age relaxation घोषित नहीं है। Reservation/relaxation claims केवल applicable official category, domicile तथा prescribed certificate conditions के अनुसार स्वीकार होंगे।

Eligibility Criteria

Hindi का ज्ञान अनिवार्य है। Candidate को जिस S-8 specialty/post के लिए आवेदन करना है, उसी entry में दी गई exact qualification और experience condition पूरी करनी होगी। Essential qualification online application की अंतिम तिथि तक प्राप्त होनी चाहिए।
Professor – General Qualification Framework
  • Concerned specialty के अनुसार prescribed MD / MS / DNB / DrNB / DM / M.Ch. / MDS अथवा notification में specified equivalent qualification आवश्यक है।
  • Broad/Super Specialty Professor posts में सामान्यतः recognised medical institution में concerned subject में prescribed Associate Professor experience आवश्यक है।
  • Applicable entries में Associate Professor बनने के बाद कम से कम 2 Research Publications आवश्यक हैं और candidate का नाम first three authors में होना चाहिए।
  • Applicable faculty entries में Commission-designated recognised medical institution से Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) पूरा होना चाहिए।
  • जहाँ rule लागू हो वहाँ prescribed Medical Education course/Faculty-development requirement भी पूरी करनी होगी।
  • Super-specialty posts के लिए exact DM/M.Ch./DNB/DrNB specialty तथा dedicated department/unit experience की individual S-8 condition final होगी।

NBEMS Government Institution Teaching Route

Notification/NMC provisions के अनुसार NBEMS-recognised Government medical institution में broad specialty या super-specialty में prescribed postgraduate teaching experience रखने वाले eligible Senior Consultant के experience को applicable Professor eligibility में निर्धारित तरीके से consider किया जा सकता है।

Assistant Professor – General Qualification Framework
  • Concerned specialty के अनुसार prescribed MD / MS / DNB / DrNB / DM / M.Ch. / MDS या exact notified equivalent qualification.
  • Broad-specialty faculty posts में सामान्य route के अंतर्गत postgraduate qualification के बाद concerned subject में recognised medical institution का prescribed Senior Residency experience जरूरी है; कई entries में यह 1 Year है।
  • Existing/transition provisions, Tutor/Demonstrator experience और special service routes केवल उन्हीं conditions में मान्य होंगे जो NMC/notification में स्पष्ट दी गई हैं।
  • Super-specialty posts में exact specialty qualification और dedicated unit/department experience अलग-अलग हो सकता है।
Official Alternative Eligibility Routes

Armed Forces Specialist Route

Concerned postgraduate medical qualification के साथ notification में निर्धारित teaching/clinical experience रखने वाले eligible Armed Forces specialist medical officers को prescribed conditions के अधीन consider किया जा सकता है।

Government Hospital Specialist Route

Applicable NMC provision के तहत postgraduate medical degree के साथ minimum prescribed experience वाले Government hospital specialist/medical officer को concerned broad specialty में eligibility मिल सकती है; notification में hospital strength और subsequent BCBR जैसी conditions भी दी गई हैं।

Old Diploma / Senior Resident Route

08/06/2017 से पहले Senior Resident के रूप में appointed specified diploma holders के लिए notification में total Senior Residency experience आधारित transitional eligibility दी गई है।

Diploma + Government Institution Experience

Specified diploma qualification तथा Government medical institution/NBEMS-recognised training institution में prescribed cumulative specialist/medical-officer experience वाला route केवल notification की exact conditions के अनुसार valid है।

DNB / DrNB Equivalence
  • DNB broad specialty/super specialty qualification NMC rules के अनुसार corresponding qualification के equivalent मानी जाएगी जब prescribed training institution/hospital conditions पूरी हों।
  • Broad-specialty DNB यदि 500 से कम beds वाले institution से प्राप्त है, तो teaching equivalence के लिए notification में additional 1 Year Senior Residency condition दी गई है।
Recognised Foreign Postgraduate Qualification

भारत से MBBS प्राप्त candidate द्वारा UK, USA, Canada, Australia या New Zealand से प्राप्त recognised medical qualification, जो India में registration के लिए eligible हो, notification में दिए NMC conditions के अनुसार Assistant Professor/Senior Resident eligibility में consider की जा सकती है। Country-specific specialist training, registration, residency/fellowship requirements अलग-अलग लागू हैं।

Non-Medical Faculty Provision

Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology और Pharmacology departments में NMC provision के अनुसार medical teachers उपलब्ध न होने पर non-medical teachers को कुल posts के prescribed proportion तक नियुक्त किया जा सकता है। संबंधित non-medical teacher को उसी subject की recognised University qualification Medical Institutions (Qualification of Faculty) Regulations के अनुसार रखनी होगी।

Statistician cum Assistant Professor

इस post के लिए medical degree route के बजाय notification में subject-specific Statistics qualification route दिया गया है। Exact advertised requirement concerned S-8 entry के अनुसार लागू होगी, जिसमें Health Statistics / Medical Statistics / Biostatistics / Statistics जैसे relevant postgraduate subject और prescribed higher qualification शामिल है।

Physicist Posts

Nuclear Medicine / Radio-Diagnosis / Radio-Therapy से संबंधित Physicist posts में notification के अनुसार Medical Physics / Radiological Physics अथवा Physics + prescribed Medical/Radiological Physics qualification, Ph.D. और specified Medical Physicist experience जैसी conditions लागू हैं। संबंधित S-8 entry की exact wording final है।

Research Publication Definition

Faculty eligibility में जहाँ research publications required हैं, notification/NMC provision original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews और case series को prescribed indexed journals में publication के रूप में recognise करता है।

Post-wise specialty qualification को केवल “Medical PG required” समझकर apply न करें। Exact MD/MS/DNB/DrNB/DM/M.Ch./MDS subject, experience, Senior Residency, Associate Professorship, publications, BCBR और transitional conditions हर S-8 entry में अलग हो सकती हैं।

UPPSC Direct Recruitment (Screening Examination) Rules, 2025 के अनुसार Commission आवश्यक होने पर suitable candidates को Interview के लिए shortlist करने हेतु Screening Examination आयोजित कर सकता है।

Advertisement No. D-1/E-1/2026 में Screening Examination के लिए detailed subject-wise syllabus, number of questions, total marks और duration घोषित नहीं किया गया है। इसलिए कोई अनुमानित syllabus नहीं जोड़ा गया है।
Recruitment advertisement केवल Screening Examination की enabling provision, final-merit weightage, minimum efficiency standard और negative-marking rule बताता है।

How to Apply

पहले UPPSC One Time Registration (OTR) पूरा करें। जिन candidates का OTR नहीं है, उन्हें application से पहले OTR Number प्राप्त करना होगा।

UPPSC की All Notifications / Advertisements page पर Advertisement No. D-1/E-1/2026 के सामने Apply चुनें और OTR से authenticate करें।

Application Part-2 में post/S-8 entry, qualification एवं experience details verify करें, applicable fee pay करें, Declaration में “I Agree” चुनकर final submit करें और application print निकालें।

Online application की print copy के साथ claims के समर्थन में required self-attested records लगाकर A-4 envelope में Registered Post / Speed Post या हाथों-हाथ UPPSC office में 15/09/2026 शाम 5:00 बजे तक जमा करें। Multiple posts के लिए अलग-अलग application/envelope रखना होगा।
केवल online form submit करना पर्याप्त नहीं है। निर्धारित समय तक records सहित hard copy प्राप्त न होने पर candidature प्रभावित हो सकती है।

Correction Rules

Online submitted application में permitted correction/modification और Fee Reconciliation की अंतिम तिथि 08/09/2026 है। Qualification-related permitted error correction Candidate Dashboard से prescribed deadline तक किया जा सकता है।
Category, sub-category, domicile, gender, DOB, EWS/creamy-layer status, name/address आदि के claims निर्धारित final/correction date के बाद बदलने का representation स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा। OTR personal information बदलने पर Dashboard में Synchronise करना जरूरी है।

भविष्य के चरणों में काम आने वाली जानकारी

Interview एवं Shortlisting Rules
केवल minimum qualification पूरी करने से Interview के लिए call मिलने का अधिकार नहीं बनता। Commission आवश्यकता होने पर Screening Examination के माध्यम से candidates को shortlist कर सकता है।
Interview की date अलग से UPPSC द्वारा सूचित की जाएगी।
Government Employees के लिए NOC
Central Government या State Government के अधीन कार्यरत candidates को Interview के समय अपने employer से जारी No Objection Certificate (NOC) प्रस्तुत करना होगा।
Document Verification / Interview में जरूरी Original Certificates
Commission द्वारा मांगे जाने पर online application में किए गए claims के समर्थन में original/prescribed-format certificates प्रस्तुत करने होंगे।
  • High School / Higher Secondary certificate – Date of Birth proof.
  • Concerned Degree / Diploma / Postgraduate / Super-specialty qualification certificates.
  • Experience / Senior Residency / Teaching Experience certificates, जहाँ applicable हों.
  • Research publication/BCBR एवं अन्य post-specific eligibility proof, जहाँ applicable हो.
  • SC / ST / OBC / EWS और अन्य reservation certificates prescribed format में, जहाँ applicable हों.
  • Skilled Player / Freedom Fighter dependent या अन्य claimed benefit का prescribed certificate, जहाँ लागू हो.
  • Interview के समय notification में prescribed attested recent passport-size photograph और अन्य demanded records.
निर्धारित certificate समय पर प्रस्तुत न करने पर candidature reject की जा सकती है।
Provisional Candidature एवं Eligibility Verification
Application की preliminary scrutiny के आधार पर candidate को provisional रूप से आगे बढ़ाया जा सकता है। बाद के किसी stage पर eligibility पूरी न मिलने पर candidature cancel की जा सकती है; selection recommendation हो जाने के बाद भी eligibility defect मिलने पर Commission recommendation वापस ले सकता है।
False Information / Debarment Rules
गलत तथ्य, material information छिपाने, unsupported claim या misconduct पाए जाने पर candidature cancel की जा सकती है। Advertisement में गलत/असत्य information के मामलों में Commission की examinations/selections से debarment तथा अन्य action का भी प्रावधान दिया गया है।
