Southern Railway Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – 4,471 Fresher & Ex-ITI Slots Apply Online

Office of the Chief Workshop Manager, Carriage & Wagon Works, Perambur, Chennai द्वारा Apprentices Act, 1961 के तहत engagement निकाली गई है। यह apprenticeship training है, regular employment नहीं।

Fee online, non-refundable है। Acknowledgement का print DV के समय रखें।

Vacancies विभिन्न Southern Railway divisions/workshops/units और designated trades में हैं तथा tentative हैं।

• पूरा Tamil Nadu, Puducherry और Kerala
• Andaman & Nicobar और Lakshadweep
• Andhra Pradesh: केवल SPSR Nellore और Chittoor
• Karnataka: केवल Dakshina Kannada

Fresher Fitter/Painter/Welder: 10th pass, minimum 50% aggregate.

Fresher MLT: 12th with 50% and Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Ex-ITI: 10th with 50% + relevant Government-recognized ITI + NCVT/SCVT certificate. Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Secretarial Assistant/Stenographer, ICTSM, COPA/PASAA पर notification की trade-specific conditions लागू हैं।

Relaxation: OBC-NCL 3 years, SC/ST 5 years, PwBD UR/EWS 10 years, PwBD+OBC 13 years, PwBD+SC/ST 15 years.

Second year में 10% और third year में 15% prescribed minimum stipend increase का provision है। Ex-ITI duration में rules के अनुसार rebate मिलेगा।

Written exam/interview notified नहीं है। Fresher merit Matric marks converted to 200; Ex-ITI merit Matric 100 + ITI 100 equal weightage; MLT merit Higher Secondary marks converted to 200. Tie में older candidate, फिर earlier Matric pass candidate को preference.

Schedule-II Apprenticeship Rules के physical fitness standards लागू हैं। DV पर prescribed medical certificate Government Authorized Doctor (Gazetted), not below Assistant Surgeon rank, से signed होना चाहिए। PwBD के लिए competent authority certificate और trade-wise suitability rules लागू हैं। DV में qualification, original Transfer Certificate, applicable caste/OBC-NCL/PwBD documents, acknowledgement और medical certificate देना होगा।

• Ex-ITI qualification applying time पर होनी चाहिए।
• Own accommodation/facilities स्वयं arrange करनी होंगी।
• Apprenticeship contract execute करना होगा; minor case में guardian कर सकता है।
• False declaration पर candidature/training terminate हो सकती है।
• Railway Administration का eligibility/selection decision final होगा।

1. Apply Online portal खोलें।
2. Personal, education, ITI/category और trade/unit preference भरें।
3. Applicable fee online pay करें।
4. Final submit करके acknowledgement save/print करें।
5. 27-09-2026, 17:00 Hrs से पहले process complete करें।

DV shortlist की tentative date 15-10-2026 है। आगे की DV/selection/eligibility communication Southern Railway के notified web section पर होगी।
