About Post: Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj ने Assistant Professor Selection Examination 2026 के लिए Advertisement No. 04/2026 जारी किया है। इस भर्ती के माध्यम से उत्तर प्रदेश के अशासकीय अनुदानित सह-शिक्षा एवं महिला महाविद्यालयों में कुल 1936 Assistant Professor पद भरे जाएंगे। Online application 08 September 2026 से शुरू है और application fee जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि 07 October 2026 है। Application correction की अंतिम तिथि 11 October 2026 है। Written examination 19 और 20 November 2026 को निर्धारित है। Candidates आवेदन से पहले subject-wise vacancy, eligibility, reservation, age condition, exam pattern और official syllabus जरूर check करें।

Eligibility / Qualification
Core eligibility: संबंधित / relevant / allied subject में Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized Indian University or equivalent accredited foreign university.
NET / SLET / SET: Candidate must have qualified NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or an equivalent accredited test such as SLET/SET, subject to the exemptions provided under applicable UGC regulations.
PhD exemption: Candidates awarded PhD under applicable UGC regulations may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET as specified in the advertisement.
Different subjects have separate allied/equivalent subject rules in the notification. Candidates should match their exact subject and qualification before submitting the form.
Exam Pattern
Written Exam: 120 objective-type questions, 360 marks, 2 hours.
Question distribution: 30 questions from General Knowledge + 90 questions from the concerned subject.
Marking: +3 marks for each correct answer.
Negative marking: -1 mark for each wrong or multiple-marked answer.
Interview: 40 marks.
Selection Process
Written Examination – 360 marks.
Shortlisting for Interview on the basis of written-exam performance.
Interview – 40 marks.
