HPPSC HPAS Combined Competitive Examination 2026 – 22 Posts

Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Essential Qualification: मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से Bachelor’s Degree या equivalent qualification आवश्यक है।

ऐसे उम्मीदवार जिन्होंने qualifying examination दिया है लेकिन result नहीं आया, या जो qualifying examination देना चाहते हैं, वे निर्धारित conditions के अधीन provisional रूप से apply कर सकते हैं, बशर्ते qualifying examination इस examination के commencement से पहले complete हो। Passing proof examination शुरू होने के बाद अधिकतम दो महीने के भीतर देना होगा।

Final professional MBBS/equivalent medical examination पास कर चुके लेकिन internship पूरी न करने वाले उम्मीदवार भी prescribed certificate के साथ provisional admission पा सकते हैं; Personality Test के समय degree/internship completion का original proof देना होगा। Equivalent qualification claim करने पर competent authority का equivalence order/letter देना आवश्यक है।

Desirable: Himachal Pradesh के customs, manners, dialects और प्रदेश की peculiar conditions में appointment suitability का knowledge.

Age: 21 से 35 वर्ष, reckoning date 01 January 2026.

Bonafide SC/ST/OBC/WFF/PwD of Himachal Pradesh के लिए upper-age में 5 वर्ष relaxation केवल उस स्थिति में admissible है जब संबंधित category के लिए post reserved हो। H.P. Ex-Servicemen के लिए relaxation applicable Government rules के अनुसार होगा।

H.P. Government/High Court/Subordinate Courts तथा substantially H.P. Government controlled PSU/Corporation/Bank के eligible employees के लिए upper age: HPAS तथा Tehsildar/BDO/Treasury Officer आदि 45 वर्ष; District Controller 42 वर्ष. Other-state reserved-category candidates को General category माना जाएगा और H.P. reservation/age relaxation नहीं मिलेगा।

Official notification के अनुसार सभी candidates के लिए, category की परवाह किए बिना, ₹600 uniform examination fee है। Fee non-refundable है और Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/other prescribed online digital mode से closing date तक जमा करनी होगी।

Preliminary Examination screening nature की है; इसके marks final merit में नहीं जुड़ेंगे। Main Examination + Personality Test के marks final ranking निर्धारित करेंगे। Services/posts final merit rank और candidate की preferences के आधार पर allot होंगी।

Paper-II qualifying है और minimum 33% marks आवश्यक हैं। Main के लिए merit केवल General Studies Paper-I के marks के आधार पर बनेगी। Wrong answer पर उस question के assigned marks का 1/3 काटा जाएगा; multiple answers भी wrong माने जाएंगे; blank answer पर penalty नहीं। दोनों papers में उपस्थित होना mandatory है। Main Examination के लिए लगभग total vacancies के 20 गुना candidates admit किए जा सकते हैं।

Paper-I: General Studies

• History, Geography, Political, Art & Culture and Socio-Economic Development of Himachal Pradesh.
• Current events of National and International importance.
• History of India and Indian National Movement.
• Indian and World Geography – Physical, Social and Economic Geography of India and the World.
• Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues etc.
• Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives etc.
• General issues on Environmental Ecology, Biodiversity and Climate Change that do not require subject specialization.
• General Science.

Paper-II: Aptitude Test

• Comprehension.
• Interpersonal skills including communication skills.
• Logical reasoning and analytical ability.
• Decision making and problem solving.
• General mental ability.
• Basic numeracy – numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc. (Class X level).
• Data interpretation – charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. (Class X level).
• English Language comprehension skills (Class X level).

Main Examination में compulsory subjects और एक optional subject होगा। सभी Main papers की duration 3 hours है।

Hindi और English compulsory papers में प्रत्येक में कम से कम 40% और इनके marks को छोड़कर aggregate में 45% qualifying requirement है। Hindi और English के marks overall ranking में नहीं गिने जाएंगे। Personality Test के लिए written merit से vacancies के अधिकतम लगभग 3 गुना candidates बुलाए जाएंगे।

Detailed Mains Syllabus: 2026 notification स्वयं स्पष्ट करता है कि HPAS Combined Competitive Main Examination का detailed syllabus Commission की official website पर उपलब्ध है। उम्मीदवार official HPPSC syllabus section से latest amended detailed syllabus देखें।

Personality Test में mental calibre, intellectual qualities, social traits, current affairs interest, Himachal Pradesh के customs/manners/dialects का knowledge, mental alertness, critical assimilation, clear and logical exposition, balance of judgement, depth of interest, social cohesion/leadership तथा intellectual and moral integrity assess की जाएगी। Final merit Main Examination (ranking papers) + Personality Test पर बनेगी। Tie होने पर पहले Personality Test marks, फिर compulsory subjects aggregate (English/Hindi को छोड़कर), फिर Essay marks और अंत में higher age से merit तय होगी।

• Matriculation certificate for age proof.
• Bachelor Degree certificate और सभी years की mark sheets/consolidated marksheet.
• Applicable valid category certificates – SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen/Ward of Ex-Servicemen/WFF/PwD आदि.
• Reserved-category candidates के लिए Bonafide Himachali certificate.
• EWS/BPL claim के लिए prescribed valid Income & Asset/BPL और required non-SC/ST/OBC certificate.
• Ex-Servicemen के लिए Discharge Certificate/Service Book, PPO/rank details और applicable NOC/retirement details.
• Regular Government service candidates को Personality Test के समय employer NOC देना होगा.

Personality Test/document verification के समय original documents प्रस्तुत करना अनिवार्य है। PwBD reservation के लिए disability सामान्यतः 40% या अधिक होनी चाहिए; scribe/reader की आवश्यकता हो तो prescribed period और rules के अनुसार Commission को request करनी होगी।

1. HPPSC official website पर जाएँ और Apply Online चुनें.
2. One Time Registration (OTR) में नए उम्मीदवार New Registration करें; registered candidates अपने account में login करें.
3. Profile पूरा करने के बाद dashboard में live Advertisement No. 59/8-2026 चुनें.
4. Required documents upload करें और preview/undertaking check करें.
5. ₹600 examination fee prescribed online mode से जमा करें.
6. Final submission से पहले सभी entries और uploaded documents verify करें.

Application successfully submitted तभी मानी जाएगी जब prescribed fee Commission account में credited/acknowledged हो। एक से अधिक application होने पर Commission के rules के अनुसार final/last valid application considered हो सकती है।
